The Foundation’s grant review panel evaluates applications based on the following key priorities:

Artistic and Cultural Impact

• Does the project demonstrate artistic excellence and creativity?

• Does it enhance the artistic identity of Armstrong Park?

• Does it align with the Armstrong Park Cultural District’s strategic goals?

Community Engagement

• Does the project engage the local community within Armstrong Park?

• Does it broaden access to cultural experiences for Armstrong Park visitors?

• Does it reflect the cultural diversity of Duncanville and the surrounding community?

Economic and Strategic Value

• Will the project attract new visitors to Armstrong Park?

• Will it generate increased business or tourism activity within the Cultural District?

• Does it create opportunities for partnerships with local businesses and organizations located in or adjacent to Armstrong Park?

Sustainability and Legacy

• Does the project have a plan for sustaining its impact beyond the grant period?

• Does it create infrastructure or programming that can be maintained or expanded over time?

• Does it establish a foundation for future arts and cultural activity in Armstrong Park?
