Join the Duncanville Drawing Club – Monthly Creative Gatherings at Duncanville Public Library
DUNCANVILLE, TX (March 14, 2025) – Calling all artists and creative minds! The Duncanville Drawing Club continues at the Duncanville Public Library (201 James Collins Blvd, Duncanville, TX 75116), offering a free, welcoming space for the community to explore art and creativity. The club meets on the fourth Saturday of each month at 10:30 AM.
The Duncanville Drawing Club is open to all ages and skill levels. Each session features a unique theme — from urban sketching and portrait drawing to fantasy character design and comic book illustration. Some sessions are designed with families and kids in mind, while others focus more on adult skills and interests — but everyone is encouraged to join in and create.
"The Drawing Club is about more than just drawing — it’s about creating a space where people can come together, learn new skills, and enjoy the creative process," said Ron Thompson, organizer of Duncanville Drawing Club.
Upcoming Sessions Include:
March 22, 2025 – Visual Storytelling (Family Focus)
April 26, 2025 – Animal Portraits (Family Focus)
May 24, 2025 – Figure Drawing (Adult Focus)
No experience is necessary, and all materials and refreshments are provided. Participants will leave each session with a completed project and new creative confidence.
