Alignment and Coordination Plan
Objective:
Maintain seamless communication, transparent reporting, and collaborative alignment between the City of Duncanville and Armstrong Park Cultural District Foundation to effectively pursue Cultural District designation and implementation.
Alignment Activities & Responsibilities:
1. Regular Coordination Meetings

Monthly meetings between Foundation leadership (Executive Director, Board Chair) and designated City staff (e.g., Arts Commission liaison, Parks & Recreation representative, Economic Development Corporation representative).
Agenda Items:
Progress updates on Cultural District designation milestones.
Coordination on shared programming and activities.
Joint planning for upcoming events, community engagement, or funding opportunities.
Discussion and resolution of potential barriers or challenges.
2. Quarterly Reporting & Updates
Content:
Comprehensive summary of Foundation activities, achievements, challenges, and financial status.
Updates on community feedback, participation, and emerging opportunities.
Distribution:
Formal reports shared with City Council, relevant city departments, and stakeholders.
Public summaries available via the Foundation’s website for community transparency.
